Victoria (Tori) S. Piccone DVM, CVA
Veterinarian and Practice Owner
Dr. Tori grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, spending her childhood alongside her father at his veterinary practice in Ambler. Those early years—filled with animals, curiosity, and compassion—shaped her lifelong commitment to veterinary medicine.
She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and went on to work both emergency hospitals and general practices, focusing on diagnostics and surgery. These experiences gave her a broad foundation and a deep appreciation for the many ways pets and their families need support.
In April 2026, Dr. Tori stepped into ownership of the practice in which she grew up, continuing the Piccone family legacy with her father still assisting from time to time.
Animals have always been central to her life. Her Belgian Malinois, Atos, accompanied her through veterinary school, and Toesy the cat—her longtime companion—now serves as the clinic’s unofficial mascot. Outside of work, Dr. Tori enjoys practicing her Irish flute, a passion she discovered while living in Dublin, Ireland during her veterinary clinical year.

Meghan grew up in Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, where she began her veterinary career through hands‑on, on‑the‑job training. After more than two years assisting at a veterinary clinic, she continued to build her skills over a decade in both general practice and emergency medicine.
Meghan is experienced in animal restraint, diagnostic testing, and anesthesia monitoring, with a background that includes both domestic pets and farm animals. Her steady presence and quick learning style make her a trusted member of the medical team.
She lives in Fort Washington with her cat, Maverick. Outside the clinic, Meghan enjoys attending car shows and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She joined Ambler Veterinary Clinic in April 2026, bringing with her a strong foundation in patient care and a genuine love for animals.
Joy grew up in Upper Dublin, Pennsylvania, where her love of animals began with her childhood Yorkshire Terrier, Robin. She often rode her bike to veterinary appointments with Dr. Franco—unaware that she would one day manage that very same veterinary practice.
Joy later married Marc Piccone and spent more than a decade helping him build what became nearly forty years of respected veterinary service in Montgomery County. Although the marriage ended, their shared dedication to their daughters and to the care of animals remained strong.
With a background that includes operating a world‑class Spanish Arabian breeding program and twenty‑five years as an award-winning groomer, Joy brings deep expertise to the clinic. Her calm presence, organizational skill, and ability to create a welcoming environment make her an essential part of the team.
When she’s not managing daily operations,
Joy enjoys spending time with her Shiloh and German Shepherds and is excited to continue training her working dogs for local search and rescue participation.
Rhonda
Administrative Assistant
Born and raised in Ambler, Rhonda has been a friendly and familiar face at the front desk of
Ambler Veterinary Clinic for more than a decade. Her warm spirit, quick recognition of patients, and natural rapport with clients make her an essential part of the clinic’s welcoming
atmosphere.
In addition to keeping records organized and files up to date, Rhonda enjoys stepping into the exam room, where her extensive experience allows her to assist Dr. Tori with in-house diagnostics. She often jokes that she works at the clinic to support her “dog habit”—a fitting sentiment for someone who is an avid supporter of local dog rescues and currently shares her home with several beloved pups. Candace Pepenelli grew up in Philadelphia and spent her early career in the health insurance
field before joining Ambler Veterinary Clinic in April 2026. Her background made the transition to veterinary reception seamless—answering phones, gathering vital information, and supporting clients all come naturally to her.
Candace stepped effortlessly into her role at the front desk, where her calm efficiency and
friendly demeanor help keep the clinic running smoothly. She is the proud pet mom of three
cats—Sabrina, Ivy, and Daisy—who keep her home life lively and full of personality.
Elizabeth Spindletree dhB

Elizabeth has been assisting Joy for more than twenty years—first through the Spanish Arabian breeding program, and later through everything from website building to organizational projects. Though she has spent nearly four decades as a jewelry designer, her creative eye and problem‑solving instincts translate seamlessly into the daily needs of the clinic.
A true team player, Elizabeth checks in regularly with Dr. Tori and Joy to assist as needed. Pitching in to help Ambler Veterinary Clinic run smoothly and continue to offer the best possible care to the dogs and cats of Montgomery County.
